Lori is born and raised in Tiverton. She has been a Registered Nurse in various settings since 1984, starting on the medical floor at Toronto East General hospital, then in the Emergency Department at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, and then in the Surgical & Cardiovascular Intensive Care unit at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. After going into medical sales for a few years, Lori returned to nursing in the Long-Term Care Sector. Lori returned to Tiverton in 1999 to raise her son Brett in the same community where she grew up. She and her husband Lindsay live in the village.
Duncan moved with his family to Tiverton in 2015 to join the then-family business after spending 9 years working in the Cayman Islands, where his twin girls were born. Duncan & Lori took ownership of the Manor in December of 2019.
With a university degree in international business & economics and having worked in the hospitality industry since 1998, as General Manager Duncan oversees day-to-day operations and all other aspects of the business. He spends lengthy amounts of times socializing with the residents and assisting with odd jobs. When not on site, Duncan can often be found in his own garden, on a golf course or volleyball court, or with his guitar in hand playing blues
About The Community
The beautiful village of Tiverton offers a Baptist and a Presbyterian Church, who both have a regular presence at the Manor. Sunday services, entertainment by local organizations and clubs, and the efforts of the Tiverton Ladies’ Auxiliary bring the warmth and vitality of the local Tiverton community to our residents.
